The "No Make-up" look

As an aspiring make-up artist, I have to be creative and inventive in the various looks I create. But my all time favorite make-up look is the natural look. The natural looking makeup simply enhances your beauty and features. In talking with other make-up artists, I am told that agencies look at how well you can create a natural look more than anything. Take a look at some celebrities that rock the "no make-up" look very often like, Halle Barry, Gabrielle Union and occasionally Beyonce.

I love colored eyeshadows that match my outfits, I love the smoky look but natural make-uo the ladies look so clean and refreshed. Natural is also the classic bridal look. No bride should have all types of colors on their face. It just clashes with the wedding dress and it looks ghetto.

Have great skin is a plus, but some of us can't help not having flawless skin due to heredity or hormones. But nonetheless, anyone can create this fabulous look. Here are some simple steps below:

Angela's 10 step natural look

1. Start with a lightweight moisturizer with sunscreen (Neutrogena and Oil of Olay have some good moisterizing products)

2. Apply a dark brown mascara distributing evely on each eyelash.

3. Apply a matted neutral or beige eyeshadow all over the eyelid. (For an extra pop, try a frosty neutral or beige)

4. Next, apply a matted brown eyeshadow in the crease of the eye blending towards the outer corners of the eye

5. Apply a dark brown eyeliner as close to the rim as possible. Use the eyeliner to also fill in your eyebrows if desired.

6. Next, apply concealer to any blemishes or under eye circles.

7.Then, apply a light foundation blending all over . Be sure to blend any cake-up spots. (depending on your preference, a powder foundation, lipuid or cream will due)

8. Next apply a light oil controlling powder to set foundation.

9. Then, apply blush or bronzer while smiling. Apply to the cheekbones or the apple of your cheeks. Blush should be just one tone pinker than your regular skin color. Be sure not to use a bronzer that's too dark. Make sure it almost matches your skin color.

10. Lastly, apply a lipgloss. The shade should be as close to your natural lip color as possible with a little shimmer if desired.

That is how you create the ultimate natural look!
