If I could meet the people that gives the "OK" to release these movies I would surely let them know just how I feel. But since I can't I will tell it all right here, right now!!!!
BRUNO......A Good movie, OK movie, or Bad movie?
None of the above...this movie wishes it could receive a good, OK or even bad.....Bruno has to be the WORST movie in history!!!! In the first 10 seconds of the movie I thought I was watching a "Gay Porn" yes its really that bad!!!! The scenes in that movie were beyond raunchy, beyond trifling, and beyond down-right ridiculous!!!
I am really trying to find the right words to describe this horrible movie...let me start by telling you all why I even went to see this movie in the 1st place.
I saw the previews and I was already skeptical about it, but I thought it would be fun to go with some friends and get a few laughs out of it....little did I know what I was getting myself into. Like I said before...the first 10 seconds of the movie was enough for me to get on my knees and repent for allowing my eye gates to take in such sights.
I walked out midway through the movie because I couldn't take what my eyes were seeing....I was being convicted because in my mind, I was thinking "If Christ was to come back right now, this very second...I know he would have something to say about me and what I was watching"...OK I'm getting sick just thinking about it. This movie was filled with Male Private Parts, Homosexual acts and dialogue, Racist Comments, Culture Critic's, stereotype humor that has been taken to another level!!!! I could not believe what was being shown on the screen....
But I do not totally blame Sacha Baron Cohen (the lead actor in the movie) only; because I have learned that people are going to do what we as a society allow them to get away with...why do you think they come over here to the USA to film such movies!!!! Because what other countries are so strict and are ruling with an iron fist...we being the land of the free, home of the brave are letting people just pervert our freedom!!!!! (ok maybe its not that serious....heck actually it is!!!) So who's to blame? The Producers, Universal Pictures, the Executive Producers, the Writers and so on...
Another thing that disturbed me the most other then the total, perverted, disgusting scenes on the screen, was that I was the only one in the movie theater NOT LAUGHING!!!!! I begin to question the minds of what people find funny and what people will watch just to get a laugh..
BRUNO...is a movie that was written and produced by the Devil himself. This is one movie I will protest against!!!! Its a movie that needs to be Banned from ALL theaters and should even make it too DVD!!!!

I would have to agree that this movie really shouldn't have been allowed to show. It had some very disturbing parts in the movie...although I did find one or two parts really funny. I would have to agree that we should be careful what we watch and maybe begin to question all that we find funny.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but I have to disagree. I thought the movie was funny and it you have to understand that is the kind of humor Borat had, except that Borat wasn't gay. I'm sure that some people felt Borat was offensive, but some people found it funny. Anyway I thought it was funny and I don't agree with you and jwriter.
ReplyDeleteTo the anonymous person: Listen I'm not saying whether or not people were wrong or not for laughing at this movie. But I would have to agree with the author when he said that we should be careful what we watch. Most of the scenes were extremely offensive and homosexual acts were performed on the screen. I will admit that I did find some things funny and will I apologize for that...no. I will apologize for going to see that movie though. The author "A Christ-Like Prince" is right in what he said about his personal walk with Christ and I agree with you that you have a right to find what you want to find funny funny. This is why this blog was open so people could give there opinions and thank you for yours.
